This past week we had a pretty intense Winter storm with snow accumulation up to 22”. During the storm, I did my good deed by volunteering to get hospital staff to work via my friend’s four wheel drive vehicle. After the storm I made my way over Ft. Ward park which is a historic landmark from the Civil War. The park is located here. I took some pictures with my 7D of the beautiful landscape. The rest of the photos can be found on my Flickr site. Did you get any cool pic during the storm? Feel free to post them in my comments section!
This past summer, I took a trip to London with my wife and my new camera, the Canon 5D Mark II. Before leaving, I recently learned about HDRs thanks to Mike Petrucci (@mikepetrucci). HDR is short for High Dynamic Range. HDR is the process of combining multiple exposed images in to one image that represents more accurately the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes. There are many tutorials online to learn more about the process. Here’s one. With some trial and error I was able to produce some pretty cool images. Check them out.

This is just a test. Thanks.
